GVRDC

I'm up in western NY officiating as a TD at the GVRDC horse trials. This is a very well run event...hopefully the rain holds off for today...didn't quite make it yesterday.

Next week is Seneca horse trials. Indy and Running Order are both moving up to intermediate. 4 others going training: Simon (his first), Wacker, Charm and Frolic.

Working Student Position

We are looking for a full time working student. It is a very exciting
opportunity, we're traveling nearly 40k miles a year, competing nearly
every weekend from Florida to Mass/NY. We're looking for someone with a
solid riding background, who has worked with young horses and preferably
competition horses as well. Competition experience is a plus. Must be
organized and willing to do anything from mucking to managing feed and
farrier schedules to riding. Applicants must be ambitious and eager to
learn.

Day #4

All of the horses were very good today. Courage did the level 5's again and was very good. Very ridable...he's ready for the 6's.

Maggie jumped well, 1 down in the j/o but still finished 5th in the level 4's.

Spanky was also good, 1 down again a bit tired...but jumping very well in the 4's.

This week has been very helpful, not only for the horse but defiantly for me. Not that I wasn't confident in the ring before, but I'm feeling a lot more comfortable. I would reccomend doing something like this to anyone...
