Leroy (Happy Valley) just finished his first intermediate in over a year. He finished 5th in a very tough division filled with a number of 4* horses working their way back to Rolex. Dressage was not bad, and he jumped very well. We did have an unfortunate rail in SJ, but ran around clean and under the time on XC.
Thinking of both Rebecca and Jan both of which had bad falls today...

Today finished up very well...every horse jumped clean...Simon might get the gold star of the day...pictures to come...but Frolic and Farley won. Cecil finished 3rd, Andy 8th, Simon 7th, Max 10th and Aquilles 5th.

Pine Top...
The snow melted and Frolic won!! Leroy was also very good...I was a bit conservative with time for his first run. He finished in 6th, but would have been 2nd without time. Paradise is next weekend...

Yesterday @ Pinetop was wild...I certainly appreciate all they they did to keep the event running. I finished up with my last test at twilight, riding at 6:15....we're off this morning for SJ and XC. Frolic and Leroy did very well, but no scores yet...

Thursday update
Full Gallop was great yesterday the results were as follows: Reggie 1st, Cecil, Andy and Farley all 2nd with Max in 4th. Aquilles was also green but quite good...
Other news Simon's abscess looks to be nearly healed, I think we have a farrier coming tomorrow or the next day to stick it back on...

Training Sessions
The Developing Rider's training sessions went very well today. Yesterday was spent on dressage, today jumping. Unfortunately due to Running Order's fever he was unable to attend, but LeRoy got the call. He was quite good...Full Gallop Wed...check back for results!

Finally back in Aiken...
I had to drive to NJ yesterday and then back to Aiken at 2am this morning to avoid the snow storm, all to pick up Running Order who had a bit of a temp/runny nose etc when we shipped do to Aiken last week. So we're finally all set...training sessions Sun/Mon then Full Gallop wed and Pine Top next weekend.

Good news...Simon looks to just have an abscess, vet came out this morning and it was draining...As for the event, Beckett finished 2nd, Cecil won on a 23 and I'm still waiting for results for Tali and Andy
